The drawing is pretty much complete on this now...maybe draw in some pipework on the right but maybe not...won't draw in any more background I'll put that in while painting.

I'm trying something new with these photos; I'm going to post a series of pictures showing my progression on the painting from start to finish. ) Sorry for the crappy quality of the pics they were taken with my phone camera) 

Spent the last couple of days happily ensconced in my painting studio working on a large three panel oil painting and listening to Chopin...BLISS!

NEW PAINTING:

Recently completed large oil painting...the first in a series; this one's called "UNDERTOW".

I am having such trouble photographing the larger canvasses, neither of my digital cameras seem up to the task and this photo in no way reflects the luminosity of the sea or the glowing quality of the hand coming out from it.

I will post a better pic ASAP.
